National Park De Hoge Veluwe

National Park De Hoge Veluwe is one of the oldest and largest national parks in the Netherlands. You will find no less than 5,500 hectare of woods, heathland, pools and drift sand. Together with the Kröller-Müller Museum and the sculpture garden, it forms a unique combination between nature, art and architecture.
National Park De Hoge Veluwe has a lot to offer to its visitors. In addition to calm and space, the landscape is unique and diverse. Vast (heath) plains are followed by magnificent woods, ridges, pools and hills. About half of the national park is made of woodlands, the other half consists of open areas. At the Kröller-Müller Museum you can look at the large collection of paintings by Vincent Van Gogh. Furthermore, at the museum you can also admire the impressive works by George Seurat, Pablo Picasso, Fernand Leger, Piet Mondriaan and many other great names.

You can also take a look underground at the Museonder. The Museonder is the world's first underground museum. It provides a surprising image of everything that lives and has lived underneath the earth's surface.

Jachtslot St. Hubertus

The St. Hubertus hunt lodge is the former residence of the Kröller-Müller family. This impressive hunt lodge was designed in 1914 by H.P. Berlage. Mr. Kröller was an avid hunter. The hunt lodge is based on the legend of St. Hubertus, the patron saint of hunters. Legend has it that Hubertus (665), a lawless and frivolous hunter, encountered a deer during one of his many hunting parties, wearing a shining cross in its antlers.
He was so impressed that he reverted to Christianity, and then made it to Bishop. Not only the stained-glass windows in the hall  visualise this legend. The two wings of the building and the large tower symbolise the antlers and the shining cross of the deer.

Burgers' Animal park
Takes up around 18 hectare of the entire park and contains over 3,000 animals. Where the keeping of animals is concerned, Burgers' has developed its own philosophy. The concepts of 'behaviour', 'space' and 'natural' are the key words in this line of thinking. Among the inhabitants of the animal park are all 3 species of apes, smaller monkeys, bongos, elephants, meerkats, sea lions, penguins, predators, cattle and an extensive collection of birds.

Burgers’ Safari

In 1968, Burgers' has a first on the mainland: a lion park. One year after the opening, the lion park is expanded with a large number of hoofed animals and birds and Burgers' introduces the name 'Safari park'. A walking route including a 250-metre long covered wooden footbridge, provides visitors with the possibility to enjoy a magnificent panorama calmly from a 'continuous' observation point.

Burgers’ Bush

In 1988, a new milestone is realised in the history of Burgers' Zo a real jungle! A gigantic hall of 1.5 hectare provides Burgers' with the opportunity to keep and present tropical animals and plants in a new way. Since 1988, a spectacular tropical rainforest has been developing there. On narrow paths and exciting suspension bridges, the visitor is led through the dark rainforest.

Burgers' Desert

displays a landscape, which provides a true to nature impression of the North-American subtropical Sonora desert.
